I just wanted to show off what I baked for a friend's birthday yesterday. It's just a standard cheescake recipe but I rarely ever bake so to me it's a total accomplishment. I made some Philly Mint Oreo Mini Cheesecakes. The original recipe actually calls for it to be made as a whole cheesecake, but we were all meeting for dinner and drinks at a restaurant and I didn't think that bringing a whole cake would go over too well with the staff, so I copied the cupcake idea from a similar recipe and made them into cupcakes instead. I even wrapped them up in little bags and tied them up with ribbons! I gave them out just before I left and the people that already started to have them said it was really good, and I had a total "pat myself on the back" moment.
